New listings for July had a slight increase to 950 new units. The overall total number of units sold in the Greater Harrisburg Area also increased to 880 units while total listing inventory decreased from June’s 2,037 units to 1,918 total units in July.
The average sales price in the Greater Harrisburg Area was $235,733, which was a $15,000 increase from the previous year’s $220,427 in July 2019 while the median sales price also increased from $190,000, July 2019, to $214,700, July of 2020. The average days on market decreased from 46 days on market in June to only 38 days on market in July.
