Price trends increased as listing inventory slipped. The median sales price increased by 3.6% from December 2018, while the average sales price increased by 7%.
While the listing inventory slipped over the year-end period by about 5%, the number of sales increased by 15.4% from December 2018. The median cumulative days on market was down 21.7% to 18 days while the average days on market was down 8.3% to 44 days on the market.
The median and average sales price in Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties all increased from the year to date. Units sold in the Greater Harrisburg Area increased to 577 units, 2019, from 500 in 2018. The median sales price increased to $187,500, 2019, from $181,000. The average sales price also increased to $217,155, 2019, from $203,012.
