Please join me in supporting the 5th Annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K to be held at Hampden Park on Sunday, March 22, 2020. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Hampden Township Veteran’s Recognition Committee.
The Hampden Township Veteran’s Recognition Committee plans to create a multi-use park with trails and other recreational facilities on land that has been generously donated by Giant Foods near Wertzville and Valley Roads in Enola. The park will be anchored by the Captain Leon Lock Veterans Memorial where members of the community can gather for celebrations and observances. It will feature an amphitheater concept centered around the five flags of the military branches that will be visible from Interstate 81 and other area roadways. It will be a proud and public symbol for our veterans.
The Shamrock Shuffle 5K will offer fun for the whole family including entertainment from the McGinley School of Irish Dance and a limited release Irish Pale Ale from Pizza Boy Brewing. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top male and female finisher. A Mile Fun Run will also take place free of charge for families and children.
Sponsorship levels are outlined on the attached form and vary from $100 – $500. Any donation is appreciated and welcomed. Each business that donates a minimum of $250 will receive their logo on the back of the race t-shirt. Your donation is tax-deductible through my charitable project, MP Cares. MP Cares is a project of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, fiscal sponsor.
Thank you for your time and consideration. If your business is interested in becoming a Corporate Sponsor of the Shamrock Shuffle 5K, please complete the attached form. Questions? Contact Michael Pion at 717.645.7152 or mpion@michaelpion.com.
