The November real estate market in the Greater Harrisburg Area stayed consistent with previous months, with many home buyers and a decrease of listing inventory homes were selling fast. The average days on market decreased from 31 days on market in October to just 26 days on market in November. New listings on the market had a slight decrease in November at 685 new units from October’s 863 new units. Total active listings on the market hit 761 active units which was consistent with the previous couple of months’ amount of active listings. The total number of units sold in November decreased to 728 units from the 773 total units sold in October. The average sales price was $233,922 which stayed consistent with October’s $234,319 and was almost a $24,000 increase from the previous year’s $209,068, Nov 2019. The median sales price increased about $10,000, from the previous month to a median sales price of $215,000.
