Total listing inventory stayed consistent at 1,586 units, 2020 from the 1,582 units in 2019. New listing inventory increased from 567 units in 2019 to 658 units in 2020. Overall, the total units sold in January 2020 was 494, which increased from the 350 units sold in January 2019.
The average sales price in the Greater Harrisburg Area of Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties increased from $193,202, 2019 to $206,842 in 2020. Median sales price also increased by 7% from $169,950 to $182,000. The average days on market decreased from 59 days, January 2019 to 42 days, while the median cumulative days on market was 20 days.
30 year (FRM) mortgage rates were at a low 3.51%, 2020 from 4.46% in January 2019.
