In the Greater Harrisburg Area, the average days on market stayed consistent with the previous month’s at 31 days on the market, while it was down 20 days from the previous year. New listings in March increased to 791 new listings while the total active listings decreased to 502 units. The total units sold in March also increased slightly to 609 units from February’s 453 total units. As the days on market stayed consistent, sales prices continued to increase throughout March. The average sales price increased from the previous month to $242,846, which is an increase of over $42,000 from March 2020. The median sales price also increased from February to $205,000 in March which was also a $25,000 increase from the median sales price in March 2020.
